Concept

Rooted in legacy, WOMA's design is a physical manifestation of the neighborhood's industrial history.

A building that could only exist on this block. Like Wynwood itself, WOMA is a mosaic — a patchwork of identities, creativity, and community.

The facade translates weaving into architecture — expressing the neighborhood's deep connection to art, craft, and fashion.

This identity is woven directly into the building itself, creating a dialogue between the structured grid of modern living and the organic threads of cultural expression.

The Architects

MVRDV & Kobi Karp

"Our goal was to create a building that feels like it belongs to Wynwood, reflecting its past while pointing towards its creative future."

A collaboration between global visionary firm MVRDV and Miami's own Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design. Together, they have crafted a structure that respects the local vernacular while introducing innovative, world-class design elements.
